The Vault Nightclub, MezzBar, and Loft Lounge, was originally conceived in March
of 2009. The G.J.K. Group based in South Florida found the perfect location to build a
Miami Style Club and Lounge in the heart of downtown Gainesville. After searching for
2 years for the perfect location we stumbled upon a 16000 square foot building at 238
W. University Avenue. This building was the ideal spot for our 1 million dollars worth
of high tech lighting, sound, effects, and furniture. We spent 9 months demolishing and
remodeling the main ballroom, mezzanine and the 3rd. floor lounge. Our focus is to bring
quality performers and artists to Gainesville. We have raised the bar for nightlife in the
downtown club scene. Our architecture and special effects have given us a reputation as
the premier venue in north Florida. Since opening the doors in March 2010, we have had
a parade of major artists performing for our patrons. Artists, such as Wolfgang Gartner,
Steve Aoki, MSTRKRFT, LA Riots, and many more have played for our packed house.
Phase 2 of our renovation will begin in 2011. The old Brick City Music Hall is inside
our facility and will soon become a major live band concert hall once again. Having
such a large facility and multiple rooms with different styles of music in each room
was what Gainesville was clearly lacking. Our Loft Lounge on the 3rd. floor has a vibe
